Love In Black Perfume by Creed, First released in 2008, Love In Black is a perfume for women . The core of this scent is its powdery accords, bolstered up by heavy floral and woody scents. The scent itself was inspired by Jacqueline Kennedy, the former first lady of the United States, as it’s a combination of ingredients from various places she enjoyed visiting. The scent opens up with violet from Italy, night-blooming jasmine from the East, and cedar from Virginia. The heart of the fragrance is made up of Florentine iris also from Italy, Tonkin musk from Vietnam, and rich, spicy cloves. Finally, black currant from Bourgogne mixes with Bulgarian rose to form the foundation atop which the rest of the fragrance balances. The flacon is made from black sand, reminiscient of sand in the Greek Isles. With moderate sillage and long-lasting longevity, the scent, like the first lady, stays around to make its presence known.
