About this item

Ferrari Essence Oud Cologne by Ferrari was released in 2011. Masculine and outdoorsy, Ferrari Essence Oud Cologne appeals to a man who feels at home in the wild. Ferrari Essence Oud cologne is a scent that is both earthy and natural as it evokes the mystery of the forest. The top notes of the scent combine the classic aroma of rose with tangy-sweet elemi and musky oud. The heart notes include the sweet, fruity scent of olibanum with spicy cumin and smoky oud wood. Rounding out the complex fragrance are rich Cistus labdanum and sensual animalic and leather notes. The oud oil that provides the foundation of this scent is extracted from the resin-saturated wood of the agar tree found in Southeast Asia. Oud oil is sometimes referred to as “liquid gold” because of its rarity and the difficulty of harvesting it.
