Island Capri Perfume by Michael Kors was released in 2008. Island Capri is part of a trio of women’s fragrances all evoking tropical island destinations. Island Capri fragrance top notes are both citrusy and herbal with bitter orange, bergamot, and basil, which give an impression of crispness and freshness to open the scent. The heart of the fragrance is made up of rose, violet, and jasmine, whose traditional floral notes will be familiar to almost any wearer. Underneath the bouquet of floral notes, at the base, lie olive tree, oakmoss, and leather which combine to give a lush earthiness to the light scent. The perfume has relatively weak longevity and a soft sillage that stays close to the body.
